DELLILAH

As an extra special year-end episode of The Daily, producer Bianca Gaiver and I created an audio-profile of the legendary empathizer & radio host Delilah. The story is a celebration of sincerity, earnestness, forgiveness, pop music, and the power of giving people your attention.

While working on it, I had no idea it was to be my NYTimes swan song, but I can think of no better story to have ended on.
